  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • teaspoons food-grade orange blossom water
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • Pinch of fine sea salt

Instructions

  • Add sugar, water, and orange zest to a small saucepan.

  • Simmer for 5 minutes to infuse the orange zest.
  • Remove from heat and strain out the zest.
  • Stir in the orange juice, orange blossom water, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
  • Allow the syrup to cool completely.
  • Taste and add an additional ½ teaspoon orange blossom water if a stronger floral flavor is desired.

Notes

Orange blossom water is potent; start with less and adjust to taste.
Use food-grade orange blossom water only.
Vanilla helps round out the floral notes and makes the syrup more coffee-friendly.
Excellent in lattes with oat milk, almond milk, or whole milk.
Pairs beautifully with honey, vanilla, pistachio, cardamom, and white chocolate flavors.
